The savings certificate is a three year certificate that offers medium term savings. It is available for natural and juridical persons. The certificate is issued in Egyptian Pounds. The amount of the certificate is in multiples of  L.E. 1,000.

Full or partial redemption is allowed after 6 months of the purchase date. The interest is paid monthly, quarterly, biannually and annually. The customer is eligible for a loan/ overdraft against the certificate for up to 90% of its value. Interest may be credited to any customer account.

The certificate is available for non-bank clients as well.
